Hello, dear backers!
I'm excited to update you on our progress! I'm doing stellar work on the interior illustrations, and the results are simply amazing. (If I do say so myself)
After 2 months sick, I'm eagerly diving back into our lettering work pre-holiday, ensuring every page is perfect.
All the finished artwork is lettered (you know I write as I letter, no script) It's been a wild ride, and we can't wait to show you what we've been up to! So I will.

The next step is to re-read the whole story up to now, then draw the last pages, then letter them!
I'll get as much done before Christmas then start up again after new year!

Hi!
I'm making great progress on the art of the True Noir Tales collection :-)
50 pages done so far, I thought that would be enough, but now think the story needs about 5-10 more pages.
Meanwhile... I think it would be super cool for you to have some pages to read right away! So with no further ado:

Dear Backers that Really Rock!
The project is coming along well, I'm making super fast progress drawing the pages (no writing involved because I draw them right from memory!)
I have changed my drawing system a bit. I do a very loose sketch, then ink it. I used to draw True Noir Tales without sketching, but for this deluxe edition, I felt I needed to make it better than ever.
Here are some samples of the new art technique, they still need to be shaded.

Smoke tests have best sent for True Noir Tales!
This is the last step before the surveys go out to everyone.
Pretty soon you will get a survey from Backerkit which is a formality to get everyone's address and info straight so that packing and shipping the rewards can be more organized.
